Frequently asked questions

Questions about the job

How many hours per month is that?

We agree on that together. A German part time job has a fixed monthly earnings limit, and we plan the shifts around it and around your timetable.

Do I have to be available on weekends?

Not every weekend, but some. Weddings, family celebrations and school ceremonies simply take place on Saturdays and Sundays. We agree on dates well in advance.

Do I need my own camera?

No. Cameras, lenses and lighting are provided. If you prefer to work with your own gear, that is of course possible.

I have never worked in a studio. Is that a problem?

No. We will train you and you start alongside someone from the team. Reliability and a friendly manner matter more than previous experience.

Can I apply as a career changer?

The position is aimed at students. Still, feel free to write to us if you study in Jena and come from a different field.
