With passport photos every millimetre counts. Head height, gaze, background and lighting have to be right, otherwise the photo comes back.
That is why we work with a measuring template on the monitor. You see your photo at once and we correct it before printing. That saves you a second trip to the office.

Frequently asked questions
Questions about passport photos
Do I need an appointment?
No. Just come by during opening hours. Monday to Friday from 9 to 18, Saturday from 9 to 14.
What is an e-passport photo?
Since 2025 German authorities accept the photo for ID cards and passports digitally. We transmit your photo encrypted and you receive the retrieval code. Prints are available as well.
How long does it take?
Usually about ten minutes, including the check and the prints.
May I wear my glasses?
Yes, as long as your eyes are clearly visible and there are no disturbing reflections. Tinted lenses are not allowed.
How long is a passport photo valid?
It has to be current and show you clearly. Authorities accept photos that are not older than six months.
Can I use a photo from my phone?
Not for ID cards and passports. The authority requires checked photos with the correct head size and neutral lighting.
Do you photograph babies?
Yes. For babies and toddlers we take more time and work with a calm voice and soft light.
